It's food (2): Black Chicken

My roommate is particularly fond of this weird species of chicken: the Silkie. I must admit that when I first saw it dead in my kitchen, I didn't feel so good about the animal. The second look at it didn't feel right either: the Silkie not only has black skin, but also black bones and black meat. Then I tasted it and realised it was nothing more than basic chicken taste.

But if the taste is the same, black chicken, or Silkie (poule-soie in French) has very particular properties. Indeed, Chinese people have been eating it for centuries thinking that it was good for women. They were right. Apparently, Silkie contains antioxidants very good for health.

So you see, my roommate is taking good care of me!

If you want to know a bit more about it, or just see how it's like, you can go and see the wiki definition here, and you can also read this article from the NY Times explaining its expansion in Western countries.

If you take a close look at it, you can see its head.

The two white things are chinese bread. It's flour and water mixed together and steamed (not as tasty as our french baguette).

An economies literacy rate is very important for its people survival. Where literacy rate is low, people don’t know their limits, they don’t differ among right or wrong, and then people were considered no less than an animal. So education must be necessary to make human being act like a human.

I could never be as daring as you about the foooooood! Sorry to say this but it just looks like a small dragon with its black skin and whiskers in the other bowl (and the bread looks like &quot;meringue&quot;...) <br /> Enjoy your meal sweetie =)
